The Wedding Day!
B&D had an amazing Spring wedding at Dawn On The Chesapeake. The outdoor wedding with sunny skies and gentle breeze was the perfect location. From the getting readies to the send off the day was total magic.
Juli and I arrived early as usual. I like to review our notes and just see the options we have for portraits - Plan A, B, C, D, - your girls like to be prepared for anything and everything. Even with all the plans in place you must always be prepared; think quick and act quicker when things change.
We visualized a 1st look outside; on the dock, or by the beach, or ceremony site, or even the gorgeous reception area, or her parents property next door... guests arrived earlier than expected and as you can imagine an indoor 1st look had to take place.
The hall where the 1st look took place was narrow and that just made it even more intimate. What a sweet first look they had; that narrowed hallway allowed Brianna and Dom to really enjoy that moment and just be.
The rest of the day seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, not before Juli and I captured it.
Get yourself a photographer that no matter what the style, location, time of year, or change of plans will jump to the opportunity to challenge themselves.
We only had 15 minutes to do family portraits, bridal party, bride & groom, and details. It was awesome!

When Brianna's Hair & Make up was done we realized 3 bridesmaids were still on the makeup chair. Naturally I asked my bride to pose for me - the best 5 minutes during that day. Look at this gorgeous bride and the hair and make up team Oh My goodness!!!!
Brianna wanted to have a first look with her girls. These moments are fun and I love their reactions. I'm so glad we made these moments happen!
This 1st look was "AMAZING". What a great opportunity to challenge ourselves as photographers and create magic no matter where.
